This presentation will address common causes of restorative implant complications, failures and shortcomings. An intimate understanding of proper restorative procedures is necessary, and we need to understand “ALL THE SMALL THINGS” that can help us avoid costly complications and failures. We will give solutions that will be practical and that can be implemented on Monday morning. Protocols will be discussed that will make restoring implant restorations more predictable, more profitable and more enjoyable.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS SESSION, ATTENDEES SHOULD BE ABLE TO:

  • Radiographically identify different implant types and componentry for new and existing patients.
  • Ensure that their restorations are properly seated and cleaned to avoid mechanical and biological complications.
